Location of Penn's Cave Wildlife Park Penn's Cave and Wildlife Park Your 90 minute tour of the Wildlife Park is a fun journey through the fields and woods surrounding the caves. A knowledgeable guide will be sure to get you close to the animals and answer any questions you may have about them. See the herd of bison, from the majestic leader of the herd to the babies (there were three babies when we visited). Head through the woods and see the elk and white-tail deer. You will even see rare white-tailed deer that are solid white (but not albino). Your guide will take you to the gray wolves. If they are hiding, your guide will try to get them to come out and see you. new to the park are the bobcats. They were just beginning to be seen when we visited. They had just turned a year old. The youngsters will like seeing them as they look like big kitty cats! Go into the African Exhibit to learn about many animals that live in Africa. Learn about the efforts to protect these wild animals. With all the fun you are having, you will also be educated about the animals and conservation efforts to protect them. This is fun for all ages. KAT'S VIEW There were deer and elk in one area. One of the deer looks albino but it has brown eyes so its not albino. One of my favorite things here were the wolves. I like wolves and they had two types of them, a timber wolf and some gray wolves. I really liked the bobcats and they also had three black bears. |
