Your hostess, Dorothy McMillen, has created a comfortable bed and breakfast in this 1890's house. The location is perfect for vacationers, business travelers, and those attending college functions. There are many great attractions in the Grove City area and the Snow Goose Inn provides you with a quiet restful place to spend the night.

The house has an interesting history. It originally was built in the 1890's to be used as a boarding house for young ladies next to the college. It was then located on the corner. A country doctor purchased the house and he and his family lived here for many years. He had his office here as well (many town residents still remember visiting the doctor here). In 1930, the doctor was asked to move his house so the corner lot could be used for a business! The house was raised and logs were put under it. Mules were used to move the house on the logs. The house sat in the middle of the street for two weeks while a foundation and furnace were put into place. The house was then placed on top of the new foundation. You will notice there are newer bricks in the foundation than those older bricks of the house!

The Snow Goose has four guest rooms. All are air conditioned, have private baths, and have queen size beds. Each room has its own unique country style decor. The house is non-smoking and children are welcome. The original fireplace, oak woodwork, and many antiques add to the charm of the Inn. The large wrap around porch is a great place to sit and relax as the sun goes down.

Breakfast each morning is guaranteed to fill you up. Coffee and juice, fresh fruit, coffee cake, and an entree with meat will start your day off right.
