Location of Keystone Inn Bed and Breakfast Keystone Inn Bed and Breakfast The Keystone Inn is located downtown in Gettysburg just a few blocks from the town square. They have five rooms for you to choose from on your stay. Your hostess, Doris, has been operating this bed and breakfast since 1988 making a comfortable home away from home for all her guests. Children of all ages are welcome. Rooms are on the second and third floors of this Victorian home that was built in 1913. Grandpa's Room is the smallest. It is a cozy room with a full size bed. The bathroom has a nice claw foot tub. Aunt Faye's Room has lovely soft pastels with a light, airy feeling perfect for a night of romance. The room has a queen size iron bed with a canopy. Uncle Eby's Room is decorated with burgundy accents and has a nice antique hand carved queen size oak bed. Uncle Art's Room has a king size bed and has its own private veranda with a view of the battlefields. The largest room is Aunt Norma's two room suite, ideal for families. With lovely pastel green accents the bedroom has a king size bed or an option of two twin beds. The sitting room has a full size sofa bed plus a small refrigerator and microwave. All the rooms have a private bath and all but Grandpa's Room have a television. Located on the second floor is Aunt Weasie's Library. Here you will find a courtesy telephone and many brochures on the various attractions and activities in the area. There is also a selection of books for your use. Choose one and take it out onto the wide front porch that wraps around the side of the house and overlooks the beautiful flowers. The downstairs sitting room provides you with a nice place to sit and relax after a day's activities. A Continental breakfast is served each morning from 7:30 to 9:30 am. There is also a menu for you to order from each morning. Everyday you can choose oatmeal or scrambled eggs with toast or you can choose the daily special. Each day is a different delicious specialty such as Cinnamon Apple Pancakes, Quiche, Waffles, French Toast, or Hashbrown Casserole. You can also choose sausage, bacon, ham, or scrapple with whichever breakfast you decide on. Come enjoy all that Gettysburg has to offer and stay here at your ";home away from home." |
