Location of the McMurray House Bed and Breakfast Inn The McMurray House Bed and Breakfast Inn We are located three miles South of Slippery Rock University. The name Slippery Rock is historical and has the added distinction of being the only post office by that name in the United States. White fences, horses, carriages and sixty-five acres of scenic sights bring back memories of family history relating to the by-gone era of the Landmark Stage Coach stop located nearby. The Town of Slippery Rock has unique restaurants. Moraine State Park, Jennings Bird Nature Reserve, Amish Country, Golf Courses, and walking trails are located nearby. Grove City College and the Grove City Outlets are just a few miles away. The Hollyhock Room includes a private suite for a short or extended stay providing lodging for our guests year round. Advanced reservations are recommended. Rates will vary with your number of guests and length of stay. No pets please (call for kennel information). Rooms are air conditioned and have cable TV. Homemade muffins, jams, cereals, juices, coffee, tea and snacks are provided. |
