1 pound ground beef
cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup uncooked rice
salt, pepper and garlic to taste
3 crushed ripe tomatoes

Make above ingredients into 5 or 6 balls. Cut off leaves from a large cabbage and place them in a pan of boiling water until limp about 5 or 10 minutes. Place meat balls in leaves and roll up. Place in a pan and top with a can of whole tomatoes. Cover and bake 1 to 1 hours. To make gravy, thicken sauce with flour and sour cream.

You may also add:

Potatoes, green beans or carrots. If you would like you can even place sour kraut on top of the rolls.
