2 beaten eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup quick oats
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons snipped parsley
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground sage
1/4 teaspoon. pepper
1 to 2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup catsup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoons dry mustard


In bowl combine the eggs and milk; stir in quick oats, onion, parsley, salt, sage, and pepper. Add ground beef. Thoroughly mix meat and seasonings (this is best done with hands). Firmly pat meat into 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Smooth the top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours. Spoon off the meat drippings and fat.
