1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
cup yellow cornmeal
1 teaspoon each salt and chili powder
1- teaspoons dry mustard
cup milk
1 egg, beaten
6 carrots, halved
6 small onions
3 or 4 potatoes, peeled, quartered
1 can tomato soup


Combine first 9 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Shape into small meatballs. Place in baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Layer meatballs and vegetables in baking dish. Pour soup over top. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
