2 pounds sirloin tip, cubed
2 tablespoons onion, minced
1 tablespoons butter
1 can (3 ounces) whole mushrooms
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cup cooked wide noodles
½ cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoons salt
¼ cup cheddar cheese
1 cup croutons
2 tablespoons pimento strips


Sauté steak and onion in 1 tablespoon butter in skillet until lightly browned. Add liquid from mushrooms, bay leaf and Worcestershire sauce. Cover. Simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove bay leaf. Combine steak and drippings with noodles, milk, salt and ½ cup water in greased casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and croutons. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Garnish with pimento.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
