Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 cups bran cereal
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions:
Combine bran cereal, brown sugar, buttermilk, oil and egg. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir together flour, baking powder
and nuts. Add to cereal mixture, stirring just until combined. Spoon into greased (or paper lined) muffin pans 2/3
full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
