Ingredients:

4 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons butter
2 cups sifted flour
3/4 teaspoon salt

Filling:
2/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons soft butter

Directions:

Melt butter, add sugar, beat smooth. Prepare dough as for baking powder biscuits. Roll 1/2 inch thick, spread with brown sugar and butter filling. Roll as for jelly roll, cut in 1 inch pieces. Place in greased pan, spread with butter creamed with brown sugar, cut side of dough down. Brush top with melted butter. Bake in hot oven about 25 minutes.
