1 1/2 cups corn meal
1 cup boiling water
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sifted flour
1 cup milk
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
3 eggs, well beaten


Slowly add meal to boiling water, stirring constantly. When smooth, cool, add eggs, butter, salt, sugar. Alternatively add milk sifted with baking powder. Bake in square greased pan. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees F., About 30 minutes.
