2 cups cream
2 cups sifted flour
2 eggs, yolks and whites beaten separately
few grains salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar


Beat egg yolks, add sifted dry ingredients alternately with cream. Add beaten egg whites. Bake on hot waffle iron, serve with homemade maple syrup or maple sugar blended with little cream.
