Ingredients: 2 eggs Directions: Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl, beating slightly. Spread butter over 10x15x1-inch baking dish. Dip bread in egg mixture; drain. Coat with crumbs. Place in buttered dish. Bake at 400° for 5 minutes; turn. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp. Top each slice of toast with pineapple and orange slices and ½ cup Custard Sauce. Custard Sauce 1/3 cup honey Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl, blending well. Stir in milk, mixing well. Cook over low heat until smooth and thick, stirring constantly. Beat eggs and orange rind in small bowl. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into eggs. Add eggs to hot mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. |
