5 tablespoon cocoa mixed with 5 tablespoons hot water
Cream shortening, slowly add sugar and beat thoroughly. Beat egg yolks. Sift dry ingredients three times and add alternately with milk. Add cocoa and last of hot water and egg yolks. Pour into a greased 13x10x2 pan and bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F., 45 minutes. Use Cocoa frosting and cover while cake is hot.
