Coconut Sour Cream Frosting

Ingredients:

2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon white corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring

Directions:

Boil sugar and cream until mixture forms soft ball when tested in cold water. Remove from fire to cool, add flavoring beat until right consistency to spread. 1/2 cup shredded coconut or 1/2 cup nuts may be added.
