Then stir in the brown sugar until well dissolved. Cream the butter, slowly add the granulated sugar and beat thoroughly. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Add the well sifted ingredients alternately with the milk mixture and blend all together. Pour into a buttered 10x10x2 pan and bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees. about 40 minutes. When cool, cover top and sides of cake with cocoa fudge frosting.
