6 egg yolks, well beaten
Beat the egg whites adding pinch of salt. When foamy add the cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Slowly add the sugar. Fold in the flour sifted 3 times. Add vanilla. Pour mixture into the bottom of an ungreased angel food tin and let stand while preparing second part.
Blend all the ingredients and pour over first mixture. Bake as for angel food cake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F., about 50 minutes. Use boiled white frosting.
