6 egg whites
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon vinegar


Beat egg whites lightly, add cream of tartar, beat stiff. Slowly add sugar, vinegar, beat 10 minutes. Drop on greased bake sheet, bake in very slow oven 45 minutes. When cold, split, fill with ice cream or fruit.
