Almond Roca
Ingredients:
1 pound butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup blanched almonds
1 pound Hershey bar
walnuts (chopped)
Directions:
Melt butter and sugar in a heavy skillet stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes. Add blanched almonds and boil, stirring constantly 5 or 6 more minutes. Pour into a large flat pan that has been lined with aluminum foil and let cool. Melt Hershey bar, spread ½ on one side, sprinkle with walnuts. Spread remaining ½ on other side, sprinkle with walnuts. Break into pieces.
