Frosty Strawberry Squares
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup chopped nuts
½ cup margarine, melted
2 egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
1 package 10 ounce frozen strawberries, partially thawed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup whipped cream
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Spread in 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring to crumble. Combine egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice in large mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer at high speed for 15 minutes. Fold in whipped cream. Place 2/3 of the crumbs in bottom of large pan. Pour in strawberry mixture. Top with remaining crumbs. Freeze until firm.
