1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 egg yolks and whites
1/2 cup ground citron
1 cup sliced almonds
2 cups cracker crumbs
1 cup sifted flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla and almond extract
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking powder


Cream sugar, butter and 4 egg yolks. Add citron, almonds, crackers, flour, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg. Add last 4 egg whites beaten stiff and baking powder. Put in mold, steam 3 1/2 hours.
