Ingredients:

2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Heat milk to boiling point. Add butter and sugar and cook to a thick syrup about 224 degrees F. Remove from fire, add vanilla, but do not stir. Serve hot or cold.
