1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 cups milk
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup shredded coconut


Melt sugar, butter over hot water, add hot milk. Blend in cornstarch which has been dissolved in little milk. Cook in double boiler. Remove from fire. Cool. Add shredded coconut and vanilla.
