Ingredients:

2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 cup canned cherry sauce

Directions:

Make a rather thick syrup of juice from canned cherries. Blend sugar and cornstarch, stir in cherry juice, stir and cook until mixture thickens. Add 2 tablespoons red currant jelly and cook over hot water 20 minutes.
