Chocolate Date Cup
Ingredients:
2 whole eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 heaping teaspoons chocolate dessert
2 or 3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk
1/2 cup shredded coconut
pinch salt
Directions:
Beat eggs 2 or 3 minutes. Add sugar, dates (pitted and cut), walnuts (not chopped to fine), chocolate dessert mixed with milk and vanilla. Put in buttered baking dish, bake in slow oven 35 to 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, sprinkle with shredded coconut.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
