6 tablespoons cocoa dissolved in little hot water
1/4 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
1 3/4 cups milk
1 tablespoon gelatin
pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 egg whites


Dissolve cocoa, add 1/2 sugar (heat over hot water). Mix rest of sugar with yolks, pour over scalding milk, cook in double boiler. Mix well with cocoa, pour over gelatin, stir until smooth. When cool, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Place in mold; serve with cream.
