2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups hot coffee
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, separate and beat
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon granulated gelatin
pinch salt


Soak gelatin in little cold water. Dissolve gelatin with little hot coffee. Add 1/2 of sugar, egg yolks. Add vanilla, sugar, beat slightly. Cook like custard. Cool. Add beaten egg whites. Chill.
