1/2 cup butter
1 package (3 ounce) cream cheese
1 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/8 teaspoon salt


Cream the butter and cheese together. Sift flour once, measure, add salt and cut into the first mixture until it resembles fine meal. Wrap in waxed paper, press firmly together and chill. Then roll 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured pastry canvas, fit into pie pan, trim, crimp, perforate and bake in a 400 degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Or, fill and bake according to temperature required for filling.
