Custard Rice Pudding #2

Ingredients:

2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups milk, scalded
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins

Directions:

Beat eggs slightly, add sugar and salt. Scald milk and add it slowly to the egg mixture, stirring constantly. Add the cooked rice, vanilla, nutmeg and raisins. Pour into a greased casserole or baking dish, set in a shallow pan of hot water and bake in a 325 degree oven about 45 minutes, or until a silver knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
