1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
lemon extract
little orange marmalade
canned apricots


Cook canned apricots in sugar and water syrup, the proportion sugar and water. Cook the apricots until soft and put through sieve. Add the apricot mixture to the sugar syrup and cook until mixture thickens. Remove from the fire, add a little lemon extract and a little orange marmalade. This is delicious to serve with rice pudding.
