5 egg yolks
5 tablespoons sugar
1 pint whipping cream
1/2 cup shredded almonds
1 dozen lady fingers
1/4 cup cooking sherry
1 teaspoon vanilla


Beat egg yolks lightly, add sugar. Place in double boiler, cook until like custard, stir constantly. Cool well. Slowly add cream, beaten stiff. Line pudding mold with lady fingers, then pudding mixture in layers. Pack let stand 4 hours. Cut candied grapefruit or cherries or nuts may be added.

Makes 1 quart
