1 pint cream
1 pint milk
2 well-beaten eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 pound candied cherries cut in small pieces
1/2 pound almonds, sliced
few seedless raisins, cut
1/2 cup macaroons, chopped
1 tablespoons vanilla or lemon extract
1 tablespoon gelatin, measure before dissolving in
hot water


Dissolve gelatin. Heat milk in double boiler, add to well beaten eggs and sugar. Add gelatin. Cool. Fold in cherries, raisins, nuts, and vanilla. Pour into refrigerator trays, freeze 1 1/2 hours. Remove, beat, stir in whipped cream. Return to freeze 4 to 5 hours.
