Ingredients:

8 egg yolks
1 cup maple syrup
3 cups cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
few grains salt

Directions:

Beat egg yolks using rotary whisk. Beat and pour hot syrup into egg yolks. Cook in double boiler until mixture will coat a spoon. Chill. Add cream and vanilla. Use hand freezer. Let stand 2 hours to flavor.
