3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring
1/2 cup pecans, chopped fine


Melt butter, add sugar, water and syrup and boil to soft ball stage 232 degrees F. Remove from fire, add milk, flavoring and nuts.
