First Part:
1 cup rice
quart boiling water
little salt

Second Part:

2 cups milk
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
sugar to taste


Wash rice thoroughly in cold water, stir rice while adding to boiling water, cook until done about 20 minutes. Drain well. Put rice through strainer. Mix second part, add rice, put into buttered baking dish, set in pan with little hit water. Bake in moderate oven.
