6 egg yolks
1 pint milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 pint heavy cream, whipped
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons cooking sherry
1/8 teaspoon salt


Put milk in double boiler and scald. Cool. Beat egg yolks. Add sugar and salt. Slowly pour milk into the egg mixture, then place in the double boiler. Cook until the mixture coats a spoon. Add vanilla, cream and sherry when cold.
