1 tablespoon granulated gelatin
1 cup fresh strawberry juice and pulp
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoons lemon juice


Pour cold water in bowl, sprinkle gelatin on top of water. Place bowl in boiling water, stir until gelatin is dissolved. Add fruit juice mixed with lemon juice and sugar, stir until dissolved. Cool, when mixture begins to thicken, fold in whipped cream. Turn into mold, rinsed in cold water, chill until firm. Unmold. (If canned fruit is used, less sugar required.)
