Combine salt, pepper, cumin, and garlic. Rub lamb with spice mixture. Place, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer. Roast at 450° for 30 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° . Roast, basting a few times with the broth until temperature reaches 160°. Approximately 1 hour. Remove lamb from oven. Cover evenly with bread crumbs. Pour 1/8 cup broth into pan. Turn off oven. Return lamb to oven for 15 minutes. Remove. Good served with oven roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli, and toss salad greens.
