Apple Pie #3

Ingredients:

6 to 8 sliced tart apples
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

Fill crust with sliced apples, sprinkle sugar, pieces of butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Roll upper crust, moisten edge of lower crust on pan, cover with pie dough with openings for steam to escape. Press edges together with fork. Brush top of pie with milk or egg white. Bake about 50 minutes.
