3 cups milk
3 egg yolks
3 tablespoons sifted flour
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
1 tablespoon butter
pinch salt
1 cup shredded coconut
(1/4 of coconut to be added to meringue for top of pie)
1 teaspoon vanilla


Cook custard in double boiler, pour into baked pie shell. Cover with meringue, made of 2 stiffly beaten egg whites, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. Brown lightly in oven.
