1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla


Beat the eggs slightly, add the sugar and salt and blend. Add the milk and vanilla and mix thoroughly.

Pour into the unbaked pie shell, sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in a 450 degree oven for about 35 minutes, or until a silver knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
