Use blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, loganberries, boysenberries, or gooseberries.

Make Pastry for a two-crust pie. Line pie pan

Filling........ 9-inch 8-inch
sugar 1-1 cups 2/3-1 cup
flour 1/3 cup 1/4 cup
cinnamon teaspoon

Mix ingredients together.

Fresh berries 4 cups 3 cups

Mix sugar mixture lightly through berries. Fill pie pan.

Butter 1 tablespoons

Dot pie with butter. Cover with top crust which has slits cut in it. Neat oven to 425 degrees. Bake until crust is nicely browned and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust, about 35-45 minutes. Serve slightly warm, not hot.
