Barbecued Spareribs #2

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 pounds ribs
1/2 cup catsup

Directions:

Melt butter in a skillet, add celery, onion, & garlic. Cook until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients except ribs. Simmer for 20 minutes. Brown ribs in a large skillet, then add sauce. Cover & simmer 1-1 1/2 hours or until ribs are tender.
