3 pounds spareribs
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon salad oil, butter, or margarine
1/2 teaspoon onion seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic seasoning
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce


Arrange ribs in a baking pan, fat side up. Bake, uncovered, in a 350-degree oven for 1/2 hour. Meantime, combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Brush the ribs with the sauce and continue to bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, basting with the sauce frequently. Serve with additional sauce.
