Southern Fried Chicken #1
Ingredients:
whole chicken cut-up
Flour
Lawrey's seasoned salt
Milk
Garlic salt
pepper
oil for frying
Directions:
Wash chicken. Place enough oil in pan to coat 1/2 of each piece of chicken. Heat oil to medium-high. Put some milk in a bowl. Put some flour on a plate (or you can use a zip lock bag to place flour in.) Dip chicken pieces in milk, then coat with flour. Place chicken pieces back in milk. Remove and sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper, and Lawrey's seasoned salt. Re-coat with flour. Fry each side until golden brown. Turn down heat to low or medium low. Continue to cook turning once until done. Pat dry on paper towels and re-sprinkle with a small amount of garlic salt.
