2 quarts corn
2 quarts ripe tomatoes
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 quarts onions
1 quart cider vinegar
1/2 cup salt
2 red peppers chopped
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 tablespoon mustard seed
mixed spices


Chop tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Mix all ingredients, boil together 40 minutes, seal in sterilized jars. Or omit tomato and use small head cabbage, 4 green peppers (no seeds) 1 cup celery. Chop fine.
