Gooseberry Conserve
Ingredients:
5 pounds sugar
6 quarts gooseberries
juice 6 oranges
1 lemon
3 pounds seeded raisins (chopped)
Directions:
Boil orange peel, drain and chop fine. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, boil until quite thick. Put into hot jelly glasses, seal with paraffin.
