Peach Pickles
Ingredients:
36 ripe peaches, peeled
1 clove in each
pack in roaster
add syrup made of:
4 cups sugar
juice 4 lemons
1 cup water
2 sticks cinnamon
mixed spices
Directions:
Boil syrup about 15 minutes, pour over peaches, cover; bake 1 1/2 hours in slow oven. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
