Select small fresh green cucumbers. Wash carefully, soak in cold water, add salt, let stand overnight. Next morning drain, dry with cloth. Place in kettle, add 1 cup of vinegar, cup cold water, repeat until cucumbers are covered. Add sugar, remaining ingredients, boil 3 minutes. Place pickles in sterilized jars, heat syrup, fill jars with hot liquid, fill to overflowing, seal at once.
