1 dozen cucumbers, small
1 dozen small onions
1 quart vinegar
mixed spices
1 teaspoon celery salt
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon tumeric powder
1 teaspoon mustard seed
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 cup salt


Slice cucumbers and onions, let stand in salt and water 2 to 3 hours. Drain. Add to vinegar, sugar, and spices, cook until tender. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
